MFA in Acting | The New School for Drama, NYC
BA in Theatre & Studio Art | St. Olaf College, MN
A passionate and studious actor and artist for more than 25 years, Megan has worked on more than 60 theatrical productions, 20 films/web series, as well as commercial and industrial work. While getting her MFA in NYC, she studied alongside a diverse pool of directors and playwrights, and collaborated in the creation of more than 8 original characters for the stage, plus acting as director and playwright in devised work. Since beginning her teaching career in AZ, Megan has created curriculum for both performing and technical theatre classes from scratch while helping the program grow in numbers. Amongst a small cohort of adjunct faculty members, and without any full-time faculty, she was key to developing the department across all class types with consistency and growth in mind. She loves passing the joy of the theatre to others as a teacher & coach, and encourages her students of all ages and diverse backgrounds to explore and discover themselves through their work on stage and in film, as well as consider how their work is a mirror to society.
